Filing periods
・ Income tax and the special income tax for reconstruction: February 16 (Mon.) to March 16 (Mon.)
・ Gift tax: By March 16 (Mon.)
・ Consumption tax and local consumption tax for self-employed persons: February 16 (Mon.) to March 31 (Tue.)
Note: Those registered as qualified invoice issuers from October 2023 onward need to file a consumption tax return.
