School Entrance Financial Awards for New First-Year Elementary and Junior High School Students
School entrance financial awards will be provided to support the healthy growth of children residing in Shinjuku City. A confirmation form will be sent out to eligible households on January 23 (Fri.). Please submit this form no later than March 31 (Tue.).

| Eligibility | Children must meet both of the following conditions to be eligible: 1. Born between April 2, 2019, and April 1, 2020 (new first-year elementary school children), or between April 2, 2013, and April 1, 2014 (new first-year junior high school students) 2. Be registered residents of Shinjuku City as of the reference date (January 1, 2026)* *If your child is not a registered resident due to special circumstances, such as domestic violence, please contact the inquiries desk. |
