Disaster Prevention Experience Tour on Sunday, November 16

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Bureau of Citizens and Cultural Affairs is hosting a disaster prevention experience tour that is designed to spread awareness and knowledge about disaster prevention among the foreign residents in Tokyo. Please take advantage of this chance to gain some disaster prevention know-how and prepare yourself for unexpected situations.

Date and time November 16, 2025 (Sun.)
10:40 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; reception starts at 10:20 a.m.
2:30 to 4:05 p.m.; reception starts at 2:10 p.m.
Eligibility Foreign residents who live, work, or go to school in Tokyo
Notes
1. Must be at least nine years old; those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
2. Capacity is 160 people (80 each for the morning and afternoon sessions; registration required). If the number of applicants exceeds capacity, a lottery will be held.

Program Earthquake simulation, fire extinguishing practice, smoke simulation and urban flood simulation
