“Temporary Housing in Tokyo” Leaflet

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has published a leaflet entitled “Temporary Housing in Tokyo,” which describes what happens from the time a major earthquake strikes to temporary housing until recovery. It also describes the diverse choices you have for evacuation sites and temporary housing. This leaflet is meant to keep people prepared for disasters and to ensure smooth action after a disaster strikes.

If your home is damaged during a disaster and you cannot stay there…
Please read the leaflet to learn about using temporary housing when a disaster strikes. For more information, please check the Tokyo Metropolitan Government website.
