Long-Term Care Insurance is an insurance program in which those 40 years of age and older are members and bear insurance premiums. When nursing care is authorized as necessary, members can use nursing care services by paying part of the costs incurred.

Members
Those who are 65 years of age or older and those between 40 and 64 years of age who are members of health insurance are members of Long-Term Care Insurance. Registered foreign residents of Shinjuku City are also eligible for Long-Term Care Insurance.
