Let’s Use the Roads Properly

Let’s Follow the Rules and Use Roads Safely and Sensibly

Placing items on the street such as standing billboards, merchandise and banners—as well as bicycles and motorcycles—obstructs traffic and can also cause traffic accidents. Please do not sell items on the street or do anything else that blocks traffic, and avoid the dumping of unwanted bicycles, motorcycles, furniture and electric appliances on the road, which is illegal.

Placing Signs or Screens on the Street Requires a Private-Use Road Permit and a Fee

Signs or screens will have to be changed or removed if standards are not met, and require a private-use road permit. You must also pay a fee to the road administrator. In some cases, there are exemption and reduction programs related to these fees. After your private-use permit expires, you will have to renew it. Please ask the road administrator (see below) for more information.
