Shinjuku City Family Support Center (Family Support Programs)
The Shinjuku City Family Support Center provides a membership-based mutual assistance program that introduces Shinjuku City residents who need help with childrearing (user members) to those who want to help with childrearing (provider members). The support includes transportation to and from childcare facilities, babysitting at provider member’s homes, and more.
In addition to regular babysitting services, the center offers a babysitting service for sick and recovering children, in which a provider member takes care of the child at the home of the user or provider member when the child cannot use their regular childcare facility due to the illness.
