These payment methods can be used as of FY2020.
Payment by Mobile-Regi Credit
This remittance service uses the Mobile-Regi app and a camera that reads the barcode printed on an invoice (must be for 300,000 yen or less). You can make your payment via mobile banking (a banking service using the Internet). Account settlement fees are charged.
*For more information, please visit NTT Data Corporation’s Mobile-Regi website (URL: http://solution.cafis.jp/bc-pay/).
Payment via Pay Easy
You can pay via a computer, smartphone, mobile phone or ATM using this service.
Starting from Wednesday, April 1 for resident’s tax and light motor vehicle tax (category base), and from Monday, May 11 for National Health Insurance, you will receive invoices that are payable via Pay Easy. Pay Easy payments can usually be made two business days after the date the invoice is issued. There is no maximum limit, and no handling fees are charged.
1. If you pay at an ATM at night or on a holiday, you may be charged a non-business hour handling fee.
2. Please note that invoices issued before Pay Easy payment begins are not payable via Pay Easy.
For more information, please visit the Japan Multi-Payment Network Promotion Association’s Pay Easy website (URL: http://www.pay-easy.jp/).
