About the Revised Minimum Wage in Metropolitan Tokyo

As of October 1, 2019, the minimum wage in metropolitan Tokyo (which is set according to region) will be revised to 1,013 yen per hour.
Notes:
1. This applies to all businesses using employees in metropolitan Tokyo and all laborers working at such businesses (including laborers dispatched to work at businesses in metropolitan Tokyo).
2. Various types of subsidy programs, such as business operation improvement subsidies, have been established as support measures to ensure that there is a stable business environment in which to make this wage increase.
