Four Shinjuku Municipal Library Branches Change Day of Closure
Starting April 1, 2019
Shinjuku Municipal Library changed the weekly day of closure of its Yotsuya branch in October 2016 from Monday to Tuesday to improve library accessibility. The library has decided to do the same for its Tsurumaki, Kita-Shinjuku, Okubo and Shimo-Ochiai branches. As a result, as shown in the table below, five branches will be closed on Mondays and the five others on Tuesdays. There is no change in the operating hours of the branches.

Note: In addition to their regular schedule of closure, all library branches will close for the year-end/New Year’s holiday period and for special days designated for library organization and maintenance (no more than seven days a year).
