Earthquake Countermeasures to Keep Your Home and Fence Safe
To keep the damage to a minimum should an earthquake hit Shinjuku City directly, and to make our town stronger in the face of disaster, we promote earthquake resistance support activities—such as subsidies for earthquake-resistance building diagnosis, earthquake-resistance renovations and the removal of fences.
For more information, please call the City Planning for Disaster Prevention Division.
Information is also available in the pamphlet “Jishin ni Tsuyoi Anata-no Sumai” (Your Home—Strong in the Face of an Earthquake) and on the Shinjuku City website.
