Be Careful with Charcoal Fires!
Accidental carbon monoxide poisoning occurred at a Shinjuku City food and beverage outlet using a charcoal fire. In January of this year, a second—and fatal—accident occurred in the Tokyo area due to the mishandling of a charcoal fire. Please be careful when handling a charcoal fire, either at a food and beverage place or during leisure activities.
