Choose the medical institution you wish to use from the list of medical institutions designated by Shinjuku City.
Note: Please ask the medical institution directly about making an appointment for a health checkup.
② Undergo the health checkup
Please bring your health checkup slip and health insurance card (not required for recipients of public financial assistance for everyday living) on the day of the checkup.
Please do not eat or drink anything other than water during the ten hours before the checkup. If your health checkup is in the afternoon, please have a light breakfast, and do not eat or drink anything other than water after that. Doing otherwise affects your health checkup results.
③ Receive an explanation of the results
You will be told the results in person on a later date. Please be sure to confirm the results.
If you have any questions, please ask the medical institution where you got your checkup done; the same applies if you receive notification by mail.
Even if you have already received a health checkup at your place of employment or health checkup center, you can take a special health class. For more information, please ask the Health Checkup Section of the Health Promotion Division.
