FY2023 Applicable Terms for Points Start from June!

“Shinjuku♥Shimpo” is a health maintenance app that awards you points based on how many steps you take. When you collect enough points, you have a chance to win a prize.

■ Eligibility
Those who registered Shinjuku City residents and are eighteen years old or older as of April 1, 2023.

■ Rough Guideline for Effective Health Maintenance
Eight thousand steps per day
Note: The guideline for people who are 75 years of age or older is 5,000 steps per day; don’t force yourself or overdo it.

■ STEP 1:
Register and apply using one of the following methods:

【Method 1】Join using the smartphone app.
・Registration is easy
・You can see how many steps you have walked and the number of calories you have consumed at a glance
Events restricted to smartphone participants in which you can win a coffee coupon by lottery are conducted on an ongoing basis.

【Method 2】Use an activity measurement device to join. (Eight hundred persons on a first-come, first served basis.)
・You can easily send in your step counts using the data transmitting device located at a Shinjuku City facility.

■ STEP 2:
Walk and accumulate points!
Applicable terms for points:
First term: June 1 (Thu.) through August 31 (Thu.)
Second term: September 1 (Fri.) through November 30 (Thu.)
Third term: December 1, 2023 (Fri.) through February 29, 2024 (Thu.)

■ STEP 3:
When you accumulate a designated amount of points, you have a chance to win a lottery prize, including:
A gift you can choose from a catalog
A Quo card worth ¥1,000
and more
Note: Registered Shinjuku City residents who are eighteen years old and up are eligible. If you join using your smartphone, you are automatically eligible for the lottery once you register your name and address in your account.
