Please call for more information.

Subsidies for Private Kindergartens

Inquiries: Kindergarten Section, School Management Division

If you are registered as a resident in the city, subsidies are available for nursery fees and enrollment fees for parents of children attending a private kindergarten that have not transferred to the new children’s/childrearing support system (regardless of whether it is in or outside of Shinjuku City). However, the amount of the subsidy varies depending on the amount of resident’s tax you pay.
Application forms will be distributed in June through the kindergarten. Completed forms are accepted at the School Management Division and Branch Offices.
