To All Expectant Mothers: About Preventing the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus
For Expectant Mothers: “Yurikago Cradle Plus Gift”
Expectant mothers in Shinjuku City are entitled to receive a “Yurikago Cradle Plus Gift” (a gift certificate worth ¥10,000) as a measure to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. These gift certificates can be used to purchase health and hygiene products as well as for transportation by taxi to health checkups.
Note: The “Yurikago Cradle Plus Gift” will be distributed in 2020 only.
|Eligibility||Expectant mothers who live in Shinjuku City and done the “Yurikago Cradle interview” are entitled to receive this gift. This includes women whose pregnancy was confirmed as of April 1, 2020.
Note: If you moved into Shinjuku City after submitting your pregnancy notification to a different municipality, you can become eligible for this gift by undergoing the interview mentioned above.
|Distribution Procedures||■ If you do the interview by May 10, 2020
You can receive the gift after confirming recent conditions and any concerns you may have.
～Flow of Procedures～
① If you are eligible, you will receive a questionnaire about your recent condition.
② Please complete the questionnaire and mail it back to the relevant public health center in the enclosed return envelope.
③ Your “Yurikago Cradle Plus Gift” will be sent after your questionnaire is checked.■ If you do the interview after May 10, 2020
You will be sent your “Yurikago Cradle Gift” together with a “Yurikago Cradle Plus Gift.”
* Please take advantage of the interview to ask for advice and assistance about any worries or problems you may be experiencing during pregnancy.

Washable Cloth Masks for Expectant Mothers
|Eligibility||Expectant mothers living in Shinjuku City|
|Distribution Procedures||■ Masks will be distributed at the interview.
■ Those who have done the interview and have received a Mother and Child Health Handbook will be given masks upon request.
If you want the masks, please bring your Mother and Child Health Handbook and ask. A proxy may ask for masks on your behalf, but please be sure that he or she brings your Mother and Child Health Handbook.
Note: Masks will not be mailed or distributed at branch offices.
