Recruiting Students for Shinjuku City Japanese-Language Class (April through July)
Come learn basic Japanese that is essential to everyday living. If there is an opening, you can join even in the middle of the term.
|Date and time||Weekdays from April through July. There are once-a-week classes and twice-a-week classes. The schedule varies depending on the location.|
|Location||Ten locations in the city, including Shinjuku Multicultural Plaza (12 classes)|
|Eligibility||Introductory/beginning level, for those who need to learn basic Japanese for everyday living. Junior high school students and younger children are not eligible.|
|Capacity||About twenty persons for each class. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of vacancies, a lottery will be conducted.
Note: Shinjuku City residents will be given priority.
|Fee||Classes that meet once a week: 2,000 yen; classes that meet twice a week: 4,000 yen|
|Application||Complete the application form and submit it by email or postal mail to Shinjuku Cosmic Center. You can also apply in person at Shinjuku Multicultural Plaza, the Foreign Resident Advisory Corner at the Shinjuku City Office, or Shinjuku Cosmic Center.
