Mainly, information and consultations on advancing to high school in Japan are provided to foreign students who live or go to school in Shinjuku City and their parents. In addition to providing information on public and private high schools, junior high school teachers and other professionals offer an overview of the school counseling given to children concerning future courses. You can also obtain information on or-ganizations that offer help with studies and hear about the actual experiences of foreign students who went through the examination process. Interpreters are available. Please call for more information, such as the guidance schedule.

Family Japanese-Language Classes for Foreign Residents

These are Japanese lessons for families who don’t understand Japanese. Since there are babysitting services, please feel free to bring kids and babies along. There are three terms each year—first term (May through July), second term (September through November), and third term (January through March).
