Summer Holiday Shinjuku Children’s Japanese-language Class: Learn Japanese with Other Kids during Summer Vacation!
In this midsummer class, instructors who have completed the children’s Japanese-language assistance volunteer training course teach children with foreign roots living in Shinjuku who wish to study Japanese.
|Date and time||Weekdays from July 23 (Mon.) to August 3 (Fri.), 9:30 to 11 a.m. (ten classes in total)|
|Location||Meeting rooms 1 and 2, Shinjuku Bunka Center 4F (6-14-1 Shinjuku)|
|Eligibility||Children attending a Shinjuku municipal elementary or junior high school whose Japanese-language ability is insufficient|
|Capacity||Around eighteen persons (on a first-come, first-served basis)|
|Fee||500 yen (the fee is the same no matter when you join)|
|Cooperation||Association for Japanese-Language Teaching|
|Application||Send an e-mail or letter via postal mail to Shinjuku Cosmic Center starting from June 22 (Fri.). Participation will be on a first-come, first served basis. Write your child’s name with furigana, sex, date of birth, commonly used language(s), nationality, parent/guardian’s name, address, phone number, school name, grade, period of stay in Japan, and history of studying Japanese.
