Recruiting Students for Shinjuku City Japanese-Language Class (January through March)
Let’s learn basic Japanese for everyday living! If there is an opening, you can start in the middle of the year.
|Date and time||Weekdays, January through March. There are classes that meet once a week and those that meet twice a week. Schedules vary depending on the class location.|
|Location||Ten locations in the city, including Shinjuku Multicultural Plaza (12 classes)|
|Eligibility||Introductory and beginner levels—Those who need to learn basic Japanese necessary for everyday living (However, those who are of junior high school age and younger are not permitted to join the class.)|
|Capacity||About twenty persons for each class. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of vacancies, a lottery will be conducted.
Note: Shinjuku City residents will be given priority.
|Fee||Classes that meet once a week: 1,500 yen; classes that meet twice a week: 3,000 yen|
|Application||Complete the application form and send it to Shinjuku Cosmic Center by e-mail or postal mail. You can also apply in person at Shinjuku Multicultural Plaza, the Shinjuku City Office Foreign Resident Advisory Corner or Shinjuku Cosmic Center.
