An Announcement concerning School Entrance Subsidies

Shinjuku City offers financial assistance to cover part of the cost of education.

Eligibility Residents having financial difficulties who meet either of the conditions below:
・Parents/guardians raising a child who is receiving compulsory education
・Parents/guardians with a child who is attending night school for junior high school. If the student is twenty years of age or older, he/she should apply himself/herself.
Note: Income restrictions apply.
Application (1) If you have a child attending a Shinjuku City municipal elementary or junior high school, please file your application through the school your child attends.
(2) If your child attends a municipal/national/private elementary or junior high school rather than a Shinjuku municipal school, please consult the School Management Support Section of the School Management Division below.
